An innovative potter, Jane Thiele has developed a unique range of hand built works including figurines and domestic ware, sold in galleries both on the mainland and in Tasmania. Her more recent work includes a range of wheel thrown vessels and she experiments with a variety of glazes and different clays, including southern ice porcelain.
Greg Hogg specializes in primitive art on driftwood and on “roundbacks” of Tasmania’s rare timbers. Greg’s paintings of fish and maritime scenes have become a standard in the local art scene and have been sold in several galleries in Tasmania.Sculptor Henrietta Norris is an artist whose chosen medium is clay. Her sculptural pieces draw on archetypal symbols as an expression of a narrative that is inherently personal. Life's journeys are a recurrent theme, and boats and birds embody powerful ideas along with beautiful form.
