Caroline Amos

Caroline studied at Claremont School of Art, graduating with a Dip Fine ARt in 1989, after exhibiting and teaching art , moved to Tasmania in 1994 to complete a Bachelor of Fine Art(Painting).

Caroline's work predominantly deals with landscape. She is a painter working with different techniques to express her love of the wild energy of the diverse Tasmanian landscape.

Caroline also works deconstructing and reconstructing her own photographic imagery of abandoned and historic buildings, combining it with charcoal drawings and site specific rubbings.

She works as a freelance art lecturer in drawing painting as well as environmental installation workshops at conferences and schools throughout the state.
